I am not another one of those large dog walking companies, walking lots of dogs at a time, with little disregard for other walkers or care for the dogs.
I AM however a small and friendly concern, providing lovely local dog walks on or off lead and pet care in your own environment, using less popular locations, building a trust with each dog & enjoying safe and happy moments.
BEFORE WE WORK TOGETHER
In order to get to know you and your pet, I will arrange to meet you - preferably at your home - to get to know you and your dog. We need to ensure that you are both happy with me, and me with you. Then we can ensure your pet gets appropriate exercise and the best care.
DOG WALKING
For your reassurance, all dogs will be kept on leads unless otherwise agreed. You will need to sign the consent form and I will only allow them off the lead when I am happy that they have excellent recall.
I walk all dogs except those that are human aggressive, or are a breed listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act. Bitches in season will need one-to-one walks.
Dogs must have up to date vaccinations, and flea/worming treatment. An identity tag is required by law.
BOOKING, INSURANCE & CANCELLATIONS
All customers will need to complete an enquiry form prior to the start of any services.
And we need 24 hours notice if dog walks are cancelled otherwise you will be still be charged the normal rate.
For house sitting the full rate applies inside a month of travel unless the days/weeks can be resold.
Not all dog walkers and house sitters are insured, but I am fully insured with Cliverton Insurance and DBS checked (Disclosure & Barring Service, previously know as CRB). I am happy to provide certificates on request.
